  • 2 sweet potatoes, grated
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons tamari
  • 0.5 cup linseed, ground
  • 0.5 cup walnuts, soaked

Grind the linseed in your blender or other grinder & set aside. Grate the sweet potatoes (I used the grating plate in my food processor) & set aside. Add the remaining ingredients to your food processor with the S blade fitted. Add sweet potatoes and linseed and process. This will need a bit of scraping down and mixing as the linseed swells. Divide into 12 burgers (I used an icecream scoop) and place directly onto a wire mesh dehydrator tray. Dehydrate for a couple of hours each side.
