Sweet potato burgers

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 apple
  • 1 sliced red chilli
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 0.5 cup whole flax
  • 2 dessert spoons nutritional yeast
  • Splash of tamari
  • 140 mls water
  • Squirt of agave
  • Clove of garlic

In a cup mix flax, nutritional yeast, water and tamari and agave. Stir and rest.  In your food processor grate sweet potatoes and apple. Set aside. Then with the blade in finely chop onion, celery, chilli and garlic. Add all ingredients back into food processor and pulse to mix. grated ingredients and pulse (or mix through in a bowl).

Shape into burgers and dehydrate for about 8 hours.
