A dear friend in Australia has recently been recommending I try slow fermented sour dough bread. She buys hers at the Barossa Farmers Market. The only problem is that I’m quite some way from the Barossa. You can check out their bread here:

I also attended a fabulous sourdough baking class with Pete at the E5 Bakehouse. It costs £99 for the day and is very good value! As well as plying you with food and coffee they show you how to make bagels, focaccia and their signature 66% rye and Hackney wild loaves. Then they send you away with big bags of bread to impress yourself and your friends. As well as all of that you also take away three different types of starter: white, hackney wild and rye.
