Adapted from Rawmazing Cheezy Kale Crackers

  • 1 cup ground flax (linseed)
  • 1.5 cup water
  • 1 cup ground pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup ground sunflower seeds
  • 1 bunch kale
  • 3/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Himalayan salt and pepper to taste

I don’t know how big a bunch of kale is. The original recipe also calls for almonds and coconut flour rather than pumpkin and sunflower seeds. I do have coconut flour but I forgot to add it. I didn’t have any almonds. I didn’t soak the seeds. The recipe was dry and I could have added even more water. The mixture tastes good. I just added the water to the ground flax, then added everything else as well and mixed through. The kale needs chopping in the food processor but the rest of it mixes well (with a little patience) by hand.
